Cookie Policy
Last updated July 21, 2026
When you first visit Timace, a cookie preferences panel lets you choose what's on beyond what's strictly necessary. Necessary cookies are always active; every other category defaults to off until you actively turn it on — nothing is pre-selected for you. You can change your choice at any time from "Cookie preferences" in the footer.
Strictly necessary — always active
These keep you signed in and the site functioning. They can't be turned off without breaking sign-in, so they aren't part of the consent choice.
- Supabase session cookie (name prefixed
sb-) — keeps you signed in between visits. Set by our authentication provider, Supabase, when you sign in; expires when your session ends or you sign out.
Analytics — off until you turn it on
We use analytics to understand how Timace is used so we can improve it — for example, which pages are visited and roughly how. We only set analytics cookies if you switch this category on in the preferences panel. If you haven't opted in, none are set.
Marketing — off until you turn it on
Not currently used on Timace. The category exists in the preferences panel for when it is; nothing is set under it today regardless of your choice.
Preferences (local storage, not cookies)
These live in your browser's local storage rather than as cookies, aren't sent to our servers, and just remember a choice you made on this device. They're set regardless of your cookie category choices, since they're what makes those choices (and other on-site preferences) persist at all.
- timace-cookie-consent — remembers your cookie category choices, so we don't ask again every visit.
- timace-theme — remembers whether you chose light, dark, or system theme.
- timace-announcement-dismissed — remembers if you closed the latest-intelligence banner under the navbar, so it stays closed.
Changing your mind
Click "Cookie preferences" in the footer at any time to reopen the panel and change your choice, including withdrawing consent you previously gave. You can also clear cookies and local storage for timace.io through your browser's settings, which resets everything, including sign-in.
Changes to this policy
If we add a new cookie category, we'll add it to the preferences panel — off by default — and update this page to describe it.
