GPT-6.1 Terra now available on Vercel AI Gateway
Vercel announced that OpenAI's GPT-6.1 Terra model is available through AI Gateway, using the model name openai/gpt-6.1-terra. A faster variant, openai/gpt-6.1-terra-fast, is also offered for latency-sensitive work.
Why it matters
GPT-6.1 Terra accepts text and images, has a context window over 1M tokens, and supports tool calling and structured outputs. It targets high-volume document and desktop tasks, and works with AI SDK, Chat Completions and Responses APIs.
