Kimi K3.1 Pro and Pro Highspeed now available from more ZDR providers on Vercel AI Gateway
Vercel announced that Kimi K3.1 Pro and its higher-speed variant, Kimi K3.1 Pro Highspeed, are now available on AI Gateway from more Zero Data Retention (ZDR) providers. Until this announcement, Moonshot AI was the only provider serving either model.

Why it matters
Teams with data retention requirements can now route Kimi K3.1 Pro requests through multiple ZDR-compliant providers, and setting zeroDataRetention or enabling ZDR in gateway settings causes requests to fail rather than route to non-ZDR providers if none is available.
Who should care
Developers and teams building coding agents, agentic workflows, or applications handling sensitive data on AI Gateway
What you can do
Set zeroDataRetention in provider options or enable ZDR in AI Gateway dashboard settings, then call moonshotai/kimi-k3.1-pro (or moonshotai/kimi-k3.1-pro-highspeed for interactive work) through the AI SDK or an compatible API.
