Vercel Connect adds managed Stripe API keys
Vercel Connect now lets users create a Stripe connector with Managed API Key as the connection method. Vercel creates a restricted Stripe API key in the user's Stripe account, limited to selected permissions, and supports rotation from connector settings with the old key valid for up to 24 hours. The existing MCP and bring-your-own API key methods are unchanged.

Why it matters
Builders can give each agent or task its own Stripe key with only the permissions it needs, instead of sharing Stripe's default full-access secret key. Vercel stores the key, so no secret needs to be pasted, and rotation can happen without redeploying.
Who should care
Ecommerce brands, SaaS developers, and teams running AI agents or automations that interact with Stripe data.
What you can do
Create a Stripe connector in the Vercel connectors directory, choose Managed API Key, select read-only or write permissions for a specific agent, and attach it to your project.
