Vercel Firewall adds separate controls for AI crawlers and AI assistants
Vercel's Firewall now lets users log or block requests from AI crawlers and AI assistants separately using the AI Bots managed ruleset. The ruleset is available on all plans, and Vercel updates the rules as new bots are added.
Why it matters
Builders can block AI crawlers that collect content for indexing and model training while still allowing AI assistants that fetch pages to answer user questions. Configuration is available through the dashboard and the Vercel CLI.

Open Security > Firewall > Bot Management > AI Bots in your project, set separate actions for AI crawlers and AI assistants, then review and publish the changes.
