Vercel Schedules enters public beta on all plans
Vercel announced that Schedules is now in public beta on all plans. Schedules run tasks on a recurring cadence or at a single point in time, in production, preview, or custom environments, and can target a private Vercel Function, an HTTP path, or a Vercel Queue topic. Schedules is the successor to Cron Jobs, which continue to work, and pricing applies on Pro and Enterprise at $5 per 1M runs and $10 per 1M creations.

Why it matters
Builders running recurring jobs on Vercel have a first-party scheduling option that can be enabled, disabled, or triggered on demand without redeploying. Runtime-created schedules target Queue topics, and Hobby plan limits are 500 schedule creations and 5,000 runs per month. Existing Cron Jobs keep working, with a migration guide available.
Who should care
Developers and agencies running Vercel-hosted sites or apps that use cron-style background tasks, scheduled publishing, or recurring data syncs for online businesses.
What you can do
Review your existing Cron Jobs in vercel.json and follow the Cron Jobs migration guide to evaluate moving them to Schedules, starting with the Hobby limits if you are on that plan.
