Vercel updates Hobby and Pro Terms of Service, effective October 19, 2026
Vercel updated the Terms of Service for Hobby and Pro customers, effective October 19, 2026. Changes cover credit expiry and refund rules, a new section on managed accounts using company email domains, auto-renewal and cancellation terms, and statutory cancellation rights for eligible consumers in the UK and EU.
Why it matters
Credits now expire: plan-included credits at subscription term end, purchased credits one year after purchase. Credits are nonrefundable except unused purchased credits when Vercel terminates without cause. Third-party pass-through rates may change with provider rates.
Who should care
Developers and agencies on Vercel Hobby or Pro plans, teams using work email accounts, and UK/EU customers.
What you can do
Review your Vercel credit balance and expiry dates, and move personal projects to a non-company email account if your employer may manage the account.
