Box Mount now runs in Vercel Sandbox
Vercel announced that Box Mount runs in Vercel Sandbox, letting agents read and write Box files through standard filesystem operations by syncing a Box folder with a directory inside the sandbox. Box Mount is in private preview, and access is requested from Box.

Why it matters
Agents running in Vercel Sandbox can work on Box files without custom Box API integration code, and anything written to the mounted directory is persisted in Box after the sandbox is deleted, provided the mount is unmounted before the sandbox stops. The sync process and agent run as separate sandbox users, which keeps Box credentials out of the agent's workspace.
Who should care
Developers building AI agents on Vercel Sandbox, teams handling document workflows such as contract review, and operators storing agent output in Box.
What you can do
Request private preview access from Box, then follow the Box Mount documentation to configure it in a Vercel Sandbox and unmount before stopping the sandbox.
