Particle-1 now available on Vercel AI Gateway
Vercel announced that Particle AI's Particle-1 model is available on AI Gateway as particle/particle-1. Particle-1 is post-trained on DeepSeek V4.1 Flash with a focus on completing software engineering tasks using fewer tokens, and has a 1M-token context window.
Why it matters
Builders using AI Gateway can call Particle-1 through the same unified API and key used for other models, and it can be selected in coding agents such as Claude Code, Codex, and Cursor after updating the Vercel CLI. AI Gateway states it passes through provider pricing with no markup and no platform fee on inference.
