Reflection AI's Beam now available on Vercel AI Gateway for free
Reflection AI's Beam, a US open-weight reasoning model for coding and agentic tasks previously in stealth, is now available on Vercel AI Gateway. Beam is free to use for a limited time during the launch period when served by Reflection AI.

Builders can test Beam through AI Gateway without per-token cost during the launch period. Beam has a 1M-token context window, adjustable reasoning effort, tool calling, and structured outputs, and is released under Apache 2.0. When the free period ends, the standard slug reflection/beam is set to move to paid pricing with no downtime, while the reflection/beam-free slug stops serving.
