Vercel CI enters beta for Turborepo projects
Vercel announced that Vercel CI is now in beta. According to the changelog, it runs CI for Turborepo repositories with one line of configuration, and runs tasks marked with a ci tag on every push, with automatic handling of affected-only runs, Remote Cache task caching, single dependency installation per run, and dependency caching across code updates.

Why it matters
Builders using Turborepo can run CI on Vercel without building a custom pipeline. Vercel reports that in its internal repositories, time from git push to CI passed is 2-6x shorter, per its own changelog claim.
Who should care
Development teams and solo developers using Turborepo monorepos, especially those running CI alongside AI coding agents.
What you can do
Add the Vercel CI configuration to a Turborepo repo, tag the tasks to run in CI with the ci tag, and compare push-to-pass times against the current pipeline.
