Vercel Connect adds MCP Events support in public beta
Vercel Connect now supports MCP Events in public beta, allowing apps and agents to subscribe to webhook events from compatible MCP servers. Connect creates and automatically renews subscriptions on the MCP server, verifies server webhooks, and forwards events to the application using authenticated delivery.

Why it matters
Builders can receive event-driven updates from MCP servers without managing subscription creation, renewal, or webhook verification themselves. Connect also provides an MCP Events adapter that exposes event discovery and subscription management as agent tools, with the AI SDK and eve named as integration points.
Who should care
Developers building AI agents, automation workflows, or apps that react to changes in tools connected via MCP servers.
What you can do
Read the Vercel Connect quickstart and try subscribing a delivery endpoint to MCP events, verifying incoming deliveries with the Connect SDK before acknowledging them.
