Vercel CLI adds option to set new projects to expire
Vercel CLI now supports a --delete-project-after flag on vercel deploy, which sets a newly created project to be deleted automatically after a chosen duration. Supported durations are 1h, 1d, 1w, 2w, and 30d, and the CLI prints the expiration date and time; running vercel project keep removes an expiration, and the feature requires Vercel CLI v65.12.0 or later.

Why it matters
Prototypes, demos, and test deployments can be cleaned up automatically rather than manually, reducing leftover projects. The flag only applies when deploy creates a new project; using it on an existing project leaves its expiration unchanged and prints a warning.
Who should care
Developers and agencies deploying prototypes, client demos, or test apps on Vercel
What you can do
Update Vercel CLI to v65.12.0 or later and deploy a test app with vercel deploy --delete-project-after 1d to see the expiration behaviour.
